We are looking for a Fundraising Consultant to join the Indigo team.
Indigo Volunteers is seeking the assistance of an experienced professional to implement our Fundraising Strategy for the purpose of diversifying our donor base over the next five years. This role is suitable for experienced fundraising consultants, especially those with a track record in successful grant applications, and reports to the IV Fundraising Committee.
The main scope of this consultancy will focus on:
Reviewing a wide range of development actors and institutions to identify relevant opportunities. This includes working through IV’s existing database of identified trusts.
Writing funding applications and following through with the application processes from start to finish.
Using previous knowledge and contacts to expand institutional funders appropriate for IV, including trusts, foundations, individuals and government agencies.
Providing general guidance, advice and feedback on the current Fundraising Strategy.
Working alongside fundraising administrative support and ensuring fundraising activities are being recorded.
Providing weekly updates to the CEO.
