A Drop in the Ocean works in Greece distributing food, clothes and non-food items to refugee camps.

  • What impact would I have?

    Volunteering with A Drop in the Ocean allows you to have a widespread impact, whether its providing people with a safe place for learning and development or running yoga sessions,  there is potential for the  impact of your work to reach every corner of the community you will be working to support due to the range of services & activities Drops provides!

  • Who will I be working with?

    Our team(s) consists of experienced coordinators and field workers from all over the world, including residents of the camp you will be working in.

  • Minimum age

    23 years

  • Accommodation

    Field workers are responsible for booking their own accommodation. We can assist with recommendations. Limited financial assistance is available for field workers contributing for at least 4 weeks.

  • Minimum time

    4 weeks. Additional 1 week of quarantine is required (from 1 July 2020)

  • Extra Costs

    10 euro signup donation required to volunteer, this is classified as a monthly donation, however, you can cancel this after your volunteer placement. It also entitles you to a Drop in the Ocean T-Shirt, cap and wrist band. Depending on which location you volunteer it is possible you may need to rent a car, this cost can be split between fellow volunteers.
