Refugee Community Kitchen

Refugee Community Kitchen provides culturally familiar, nutritious food made with love to displaced people to create a welcoming and sustaining service for people in need.

  • Where is it?

    Calais and Dunkirk, France

  • What will I be doing?

    Helping to prepare hot and healthy meals and distributing them at different locations daily.

  • What impact would I have?

    You will be making a big difference to the health and wellbeing of thousands of displaced and homeless people as well a giving people a reliable and welcoming service.

  • Who will I be working with?

    Other volunteers from all over the world, long term volunteers and founders.

  • Minimum age

    To Volunteer you need to be over 18. 

    Long-term volunteers have to be over 21 years old.

  • Accommodation

    We offer accommodation for long term volunteers that are over 21 years old, in shared houses after an initial period of 4 weeks. We offer stipends to all volunteers after their initial stay who want to stay for a minimum of 3 months.

  • Extra Costs

    There is no extra cost to volunteer, we supply lunch, you will need to provide food for yourself in the evenings, on days we are closed or on days off.
